Disney Gay Days this year will be June 2 – June 8, 2009. An anticipated 140,000 attendees are expected. The week long event consists of a whole calendar of festivities(1). Gay Days started with approximately 3000 attendees its first year in 1991 as a one day event. Gay Days is now a global phenomena producing over $100,000,000 of economic stimulus into the Orlando Florida economy over seven days. 

There are various host hotels for the event, but for those attendees looking for a more functional economically alternative accommodation, an Orlando vacation home rental can make a lot more sense. Gay Days has become a week long Orlando event. Typically, the first Saturday in June at 3.00 PM the main attraction is the famous Gay Day Parade. In addition, there are events going on during the week all over Orlando so be sure to check the calendar above.
