Vista Cay Resort is an Italian inspired community located in Orlando just off Universal Boulevard next to the Orange County Convention Center behind International Drive. Vista Cay at Harbor Square is a gated resort community consisting of over 600 luxurious 2 and 3 bedroom condos.

The complex is in a more urban location and is in close proximity to all the International Drive shops and restaurants. The expansive Mall at Millenia is located approximately 7 miles away (11km). Although the Vista Cay Resort is well north of the Disney attractions, Vista Cay Orlando is ideally located close to SeaWorld Orlando and Universal Studios with the Wizarding World of Harry Potter attraction. Shingle Creek Golf Course is also just a mere mile away.

Vista Cay does not retain the detached single family style home with private pools as do many of the vacation communities we review. The development consists exclusively of condos and townhome style units.The 2 bedroom units are approximately 1800 square feet depending upon floor plan, and the 3 bedroom condos are roughly 2200 square feet. The 3 bedroom units sleep 6-8 persons depending upon sleeping arrangements.The condos and town homes in Vista Cay Resort are the only true vacation home rentals in Orlando as the all other communities tend to be in Kissimmee or Davenport.

Vista Cay Resort offers extensive community amenities including a community pool and whirlpool spa with a zero sloped pool entry. At the Vista Cay clubhouse, there is also a game room with billiards tables, concierge service, fitness room, internet lounge, movie theatre, basketball court and even a kiddie pool for younger visitors. In addition to these recreational facilities, there is also a business center, retail gift shop and meeting room.

This community is great for anyone desiring to be close to Sea World, Universal Studios, the Orange County Convention Center or the International Drive retail area. Location is perhaps the signature attribute for this property.

If you are looking for a condo rental near the Orlando Convention Center, Vista Cay Resort is ideal as is it located next door. However, the Orlando Convention Center is not typically within walking distance for most people. The Orlando Convention Center is so large that depending on what part of the convention center one is visiting,the convention hall still could be 1 to 2 miles away.

Another advantage of Vista Cay Fl is the fact that it is located across from the Rosen School of Hospitality at the University of Central Florida (UCF). The Rosen School is considered by many industry leaders to be the premiere hotel school in the world.
