Get Your Boo on this Year for Halloween in Orlando 2016!
While it’s true that Disney, and the other surrounding theme parks, are famously known as one of the ultimate Christmas and Holidays destinations in the world, you may want to take a closer look at what all’s going on in Orlando this Halloween season as well! Many of the following events for Halloween in Orlando 2016 begin early in October, but check park schedules for specific times and days.
Just as throughout out the year, there is something going on for all ages. If you’re one of those who actually enjoys getting spooked … after all it is Halloween … be sure to plan one of your nights to include a trip to Universal Studios ® where from September 16 thru Halloween, the park will be presenting Halloween Horror Nights 2016. Halloween in Orlando 2016 would not be complete without a trip to Universal Studios for this event.
In addition to eight haunted houses, which are sure to provide all takers with a chilling experience, the streets thru-out Universal will also be filled with zombies and a cast of other scary characters awaiting unsuspecting Hallow’s Eve strollers! So keep your guard up and try to enjoy your walk thru the park!
For those who want to be seriously scared to death, a short drive to Altamonte Springs to visit A Petrified Forest would surely be the ticket. The venue features two outdoor “scare trails” which come to life with the sole purpose of haunting its hikers!
There’s also plenty going on before you ever set foot on the trails. This ever-popular event also includes food vendors, live bands, and plenty of entertainment for all. For a complete calendar of events, which kick off on Oct. 15 with Kid’s Day, along with other information and ticket prices, be sure to visit the website at www.APetrifiedForest.com.
Hardcore horror fans will want to attend the Spooky Empire 2016, which is billed as the “largest horror convention in the U.S,” takes place in Orlando from October 7-9. This year’s horror fest, which is held at the Orange County Convention Center, features Weird Al Yankovic, along with Millie Bobby Brown, who stars on the Netflix series Stranger Things. The convention also includes a tattoo festival for those who like to get inked up, a film festival, zombie walk and of course a costume contest!
For those with little ones to entertain who are looking for a “not so spooky” Halloween in Orlando 2016 experience, don’t worry, there is plenty going on.
