We culled our reviews of Orlando resorts to develop a selective list of our favorite full amenity 4 and 5 star resorts near Disney World. To be clear, let’s first define the amenities and luxuries that a resort must possess to make this list. The “must haves” for any premium resort must include one or more spacious community pools, a tennis court, volleyball court, sports court or basketball court, kids playground, bbq grilles for public use and a full service clubhouse.

Perhaps the most important amenity on this list would be a resort with a great community pool. We recently profiled rental homes with great community pools in a recent blog post. However, since so many vacation rentals have individual pools, this request may have less significance for many families. Since mileage to Disney World is such an important factor, we also cross reference this information with our internally generated resort quality rating.
