Ole Miss – Florida State Game to Kick Off a Huge 2016 Fall Schedule in Orlando

For the 2016 Orlando fall schedule the Rebels of Ole Miss tee it up to take on the Florida State Seminoles this coming Labor Day to a nationally televised audience on ESPN. This event will not only kick off an exciting new year of college football, it will also be the start of a very entertaining 2016 Orlando Fall event schedule.

The very next weekend, September 9-11, Cocoa Beach will host the huge Comic Con Cocoa Beach Festival. Just three days later, Epcot opens its doors to the annual Epcot International Food and Wine Festival. This is a hugely popular festival that runs until mid-December.

In October, attention will be turned to the links, as EA Sports presents Swing for the King. This event is a benefit golf tournament held at Bay Hill Country Club on Monday, October 3rd. The goal of the tournament is to raise funds to help support the Arnold Palmer Scholarship Fund and the First Tee of Central Florida.

I’m sure Ole Miss fans beg to differ that they are playing the Seminoles on a “neutral site,” especially since Orlando is pretty much right smack in the middle of Florida. Nevertheless, that’s where  they’ll be teeing up on Labor Day in what should be a very entertaining Kickoff Classic … if the game can live up to all the hype:

Orlando Pro Bowl  01/29/17

The Pro Bowl returns to its original AFC-NFC format as Central Florida plays host to the NFL’s annual prelude to the Super Bowl. The Pro Bowl takes place at Camping World Stadium and what must be considered a huge coup for Orlando.
