There is much discussion about the ideal distance and proximity for vacation homes near Disney. In real estate cliche’ terms, it’s all about location, location, location. Since we focus on Kissimmee vacation rentals rather than real estate per se, we asked a local realtor what is the optimal distance to Disney from a real estate perspective.
According to this professional, consumers/buyers look for homes 8 or less miles from the theme park. In other words, buyers tend to pay a real price premium for vacation homes based on that locational convenience. In higher peak attendance months, this trip to the parks may take 30 minutes or roughly 1 hour both ways. It would sense that one would want to own a home that is that is both convenient to the parks along with the inherent rental demand that a vacation home like this offers. We concur on this estimate in terms of ideal distance to Walt Disney World®.
