Let the Parade Begin!

Anyone who’s ever been to Mardi Gras knows that it centers around its monumental parades. With its flambuoyant floats, costumed dancers, and even stilt walkers, be prepared to catch plenty of those purple, gold, and green beads. Once again, these beautiful floats will be the designs of Kern Studios, a company that has created floats in New Orleans for over 60 years .. so be sure to get out there and see these genuine works of art.

This year, nightly parades will roll down the streets starting at various times from 5:15 to 7:45. Be sure to visit www.UniversalOrlando.com to view the complete parade schedule. If you have the kiddos with you, don’t sweat it, there will be a Little Jester’s Viewing Area set up in front of the Brown Derby Hat Shop. Access to the children’s area opens daily one hour before the parade so plan to arrive early.
